1. Prevent smudging by using waterproof eyeliners.
2. Always focus on getting the eyeliner to the base of your eyelashes. This not only gives you greater control, but also thickens the eyelashes and makes them look more prominent.
3. Always keep in mind that eye shadow goes on first, followed by eyeliner, and mascara last. This can help prevent unnecessary accidents and botch-ups.
4. With time, you will not need to stretch your eyelids to get an even coat of eyeliner on. However, keep in mind that when you stretch and apply, the line will appear thicker and denser once you release the eyelid.

Loving Your Self

Loving your own self does not mean ignoring your imperfections or being selfish. It does not mean that you say, “I am perfect and don’t need to change.” Loving yourself is not a selfish act. It does not imply that you must ignore the needs of others. Nor does loving yourself involve doing so with arrogance. Instead, to love yourself involves self-awareness. Self-love means you pay attention to your feelings, your perspective. You are fully aware of your own needs while recognizing the needs of others. If you do not feel fulfilled within, how can you properly reach out and become deeply fulfilling to others? (Neellan Nanwani, Speaking Tree)

One of them is self care at a physical material level. Along with taking care of our body and our health, we also need to take care of our appearance. To some extent, this need is built into us genetically as a survival trait. In order to feel good about ourselves, to attract the right kind of people and energy into our lives, we need to look good.
